                                                                                                    Henri Lebasque

WHAT A JACKET

One of his pockets  full of sorrow.

Of the world, of mine – of no importance.

Just  sorrow  visible  from everywhere

like the moon.

In the other pocket joy

a snake

afraid to get out

squirming inside  the lining

gets a bit  distracted.

Whenever I wake it up

with its eyes

more human than human

it looks at me.

Like the pet we dont trust

and keep it out at night.

And you travel me all the way

Eleni Marinaki

Anna Achmatova by Amedeo Modigliani

   Unpredictable

I don't know what to do
 with that joy
I don't know what to do
 with that sorrow.

They have both come
 and resided
 in my body
pressing my heart.

They talk with gestures
with nods
of small children
with the tension of adolescents.

I don't know
what to do with
that shower
that rain
in high summer
over my body.

Minas Dimakis

                                                                           Jan van der Koii

I will cover the sleep with iron:

Not those transparent curtains
they let through the past...

I'll tie the ghosts with heavy chains:
they dig the soil of time and oblivion
They bring killed beasts back to life

that show you teeth and claws

So you are not saved just afraid…

But  have you even wished to be saved?
Minas Dimakis

Αλλά και ήθελες να σωθείς;

Tassos Porfyris

                             Spyros Vassiliou , Athens

If I love this city it 's because  once
you have crossed its roads
if my hands still exist it' s because their fingers
paused on your hair

Yiannis Varveris

Gustave Caillebotte, Yerres, effect of rain

I 've spoken enough;
whatever I should, whatever I could I' ve said it.
And whatever I said whatever I whispered...
were nothing but the roaring or the rain
but the roaring or the rain,
hitting on me.

Yiannis Varveris

Kiki Dimoula

Cezanne , L 'Estaque under snow

You had it postponed.

Stormy  weather ,  snowfall
the roads were closed, ice,  great lubricity.

You 've done well. If desire is not slippery

why should it come?

Kiki Dimoula

προς τι να έρθει;
