Manolis Pratikakis

                                                           Camille Claudel, La Espiral

Stonemason

Shapeless. As I engrave you, with your closed body

with your unformed hands, you define me.

From your night a face hardly waves.

Although in love on my knee I hold the chisel

And kneeling I seek your silence icon

inside the stone.

With all the god's breath on the neck

With all the vibration of the vacuum that shivers in my vein

For a shape. For a word. That draws the sleighs into heaven.

With your born tread you will write on the sand

our first footprint.

And from your mouth my first word

will flutter.

Christos Laskaris

                                                                    Dimitris Milionis

You still travel noisy country house
and your crazy heart

still insists on summer.
You still pump water out of the well,
even at nights
you breathe passion.
A magical image
and unquenchable sorrow,
you still hold
the kid
in your heart.

Christos Laskaris

SUNDAY GLORY

The girl opposite in the grove
converses with desires and unbroken secrets.
Her hands show the streets
her feet set fire on the song of the grass
her eyes say good morning to the fresh light.
The sun shines on her forehead
her forehead  shines better than the sun.
Her endless hair is music
that wishes to go crazy.
As a whole she is the welcome of love
the most suitable heading for Sunday.

Thomas Gorpas, Future stops, 1979
