I broke.
By now I have some of the awareness
of the phoenix
the fact he resurrects
is nothing compared
to his death each time

Η επίγνωση του φοίνικα
Ι.
Και ξέρεις κάτι;
έσπασα.
Κάποτε είχα γράψει ψέματα
είμαι άτρωτος
αλλά άκου με λίγο:
έσπασα.
Πλέον έχω κάτι από την επίγνωση
του φοίνικα
το γεγονός ότι ανασταίνεται
δεν κάνει τίποτα μπροστά στην ανάμνηση
του κάθε φορά θανάτου του
των όσων προηγήθηκαν.
Η ζωή επανέρχεται
αλλά η μνήμη μένει.
